Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Victorville, CA, serving students from PreK through 12th grade. This contract position is based in a K-12 school setting and offers a caseload that typically averages 55 students with mild to moderate disabilities. The role involves delivering comprehensive SLP services consistent with school-based practices and supporting a diverse student population.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with school policies
  • Participating in professional development and training provided by the district to enhance clinical skills
  • Adapting service delivery, including teletherapy options where applicable, to meet the needs of students

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable
  • Credentialed with a valid California SLP License or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
  • Ability to manage an average caseload of 55 students, with support from Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) at select sites
  • Familiarity with delivering teletherapy services is a plus

Schedule is full-time, typically 6.5 hours per day, with the option to work up to 8 hours daily if workload documentation supports it. The position offers a supportive environment with in-house training and resources for professional growth.
