Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged
- Experience working in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings as an SLP
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting individualized learning and inclusion
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school-based population
- Develop IEP goals and provide therapy tailored to student needs
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate language goals into the classroom
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and team planning sessions
- Educate families and caregivers about strategies to support communication at home
