Job Description

This contract position offers the opportunity to support K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a vibrant educational setting. The role begins in March 2026 and continues through early June 2026, providing valuable short-term experience in a school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring to a caseload averaging around 45 students.
  • Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to meet student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal guidelines for speech-language services.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with K-12 student populations.
  • Familiarity with school-related speech-language services and interventions.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.

Location:

  • Van Nuys, California (specific school site to be determined).

Hours:

  • Approximately 30-35 hours per week (to be determined).
