Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting located in Van Nuys, CA. This contract position offers a full academic year schedule with consistent hours, ideal for professionals passionate about supporting pediatric populations in educational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and school policies
  • Utilize teletherapy methods when necessary to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but open to all levels
  • Experience in pediatric healthcare and school-based SLP settings
  • Competency in teletherapy approaches and technology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly advantageous
  • Strong communication and organizational skills essential

Work Schedule and Location:

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Service delivery within a school district serving K-12 students
  • Position located in Van Nuys, California with contract duration spanning the full academic year
