Take the next step in your professional journey as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting vibrant learners from preschool through 5th grade. This contract opportunity is based near Vallejo and offers the chance to make a direct impact in a welcoming and diverse school community.
Youll work a consistent 7.75-hour day with a 30-minute duty-free lunch, typically assigned to one school site. Maximize your potential and help manage a caseload of up to 55 students, focusing on improving communication skills and academic participation for young learners in a supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license required
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion welcomed
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based caseloads highly desirable
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy to children ages PreK5th grade
- Knowledge of IEP development and adherence to state/federal education guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions based on student IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create and implement individualized intervention plans
- Manage documentation, progress reports, and maintain necessary records in a timely manner
- Attend remote interviews and integrate into school-specific onboarding/training requirements
- Engage with a dedicated, student-focused team throughout your assignment from August to June
