Job Description

An opportunity exists for experienced candidates to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment in Valentine, AZ. This full-time contract position spans the academic year, offering the chance to work across various grade levels, tailored to your expertise and preference.

Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Familiarity with IEPs and various disability types, particularly mild to moderate

Location: Valentine, AZ

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
  • Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records as required by the district
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
