Job Description

A licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to serve a TK6 caseload at an elementary school in Valencia, CA. This contract assignment offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, throughout the current school year (CSY). The role involves providing speech and language support to students within a single school site, utilizing teletherapy and in-person methods as appropriate.

Responsibilities include assessing and treating pediatric speech and language disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families, and maintaining detailed documentation to monitor student progress. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary school team are essential.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy delivery methods
  • Completion or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Ability to manage TK6 caseload independently
