Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 20262027 academic year. This full-time, onsite position begins August 13, 2026, and concludes May 28, 2027. Youll collaborate with an engaged academic community and help young learners reach their full communication potential.
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license (NC SLP license)
- Accepting Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) as well as SLP-CCC
- Prior school-based experience preferred, especially with elementary and middle school populations
- Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00am3:30pm
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and regulatory guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Help foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes student achievement and growth
