Desired Qualifications:

  • Active New Jersey SLP licensure is required
  • Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in K-12 populations
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to tailor assessment and intervention to diverse groups of students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive evaluation and treatment for speech and language needs across elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, families, and fellow specialists
  • Consult regularly with educators and administrators to promote language-rich learning environments
  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of assessments, progress, and interventions
  • Provide targeted support to help students achieve social and academic benchmarks
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and guidance on communication development
