Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • CCC-SLP or CFY candidates are welcome
  • Prior experience or interest in working within school-based settings
  • Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication development
  • Ability to administer and interpret assessments, develop therapy plans, and monitor student progress
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students speech, language, and communication needs
  • Design and implement individualized therapy goals and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to integrate interventions in the classroom
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school standards
  • Consult and communicate effectively with families to support generalization of skills
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and student review sessions
