This on-site contract position serves vibrant student populations (PreK, grades 412) within elementary and middle school settings, supporting approximately 3540 students per site. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering the chance to collaborate closely with dedicated teams, families, and students within a supportive district.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina NCDPI SLP License, with confirmation required
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Proven experience navigating ECATS (Electronic Compliance and Accountability Tracking System)
- Strong understanding of school-based SLP services; prior experience in PreK12 preferred
- Proficiency with Infinite Campus for documentation and scheduling
- Only accepting SLP-CCCs (no SLP CFs or SLPAs for this opportunity)
- Commitment to on-site service
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services aligned with student IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, crafting detailed assessment reports
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans; adapt interventions to student progress
- Engage actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Maintain thorough and timely records, compliance documentation, and progress notes
- Provide expert consultative services and classroom-based support
- Ensure all interventions meet state, district, and federal special education regulations
