Job Description

Located in Ten Sleep, WY, this full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers the opportunity to work with K-12 students in a dynamic school environment. This role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services throughout the contracted school year, with responsibilities ranging from direct therapy to detailed documentation and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services tailored to individual student needs
  • Conduct assessments and testing to evaluate speech and language abilities
  • Write and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
  • Document progress through comprehensive report writing and progress notes

Qualifications:

  • Valid Wyoming SLP License is required
  • Experience working in school settings preferred, with skills in both therapy and assessment
  • Strong organizational abilities for managing caseloads and documentation
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
