Job Description

A California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support at an elementary school in Temecula, CA. This contract position is designed for the current school year (CSY) and involves delivering speech and language therapy services to students in an educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentials
  • Experience working with pediatric populations
  • Background in school-based speech therapy services
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Ability to provide teletherapy services is a plus
  • Familiarity with healthcare-related speech therapy techniques beneficial

Location:

  • Elementary school located in Temecula, California

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-age children
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Provide services consistent with current evidence-based practices
  • Adapt therapy approaches for in-person and teletherapy formats as needed
