Job Description

Step into a pivotal role supporting student success by providing comprehensive speech-language services in a dynamic, school-based environment for the 20262027 academic year. In this contract-based position, youll have the chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of children by addressing communication challenges and facilitating educational achievement through expert assessments, individualized planning, and collaborative intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and assessments for students with communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language therapy tailored to each students needs
  • Maintain precise documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
  • Provide classroom consultations and recommendations to promote student progress
  • Regularly monitor student outcomes and adjust intervention approaches as appropriate

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Georgia SLP license and/or required educator certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; strong candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship year are also encouraged to apply
  • School-based SLP experience preferred; those with pediatric clinical backgrounds welcome
  • Demonstrated strengths in communication, organization, and teamwork
