Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current licensure as an SLP in Arizona
- Certification through ASHA (CCC-SLP preferred, CFs considered)
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, and educational staff
- Proficient with assessment tools, documentation, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized IEPs for students with communication challenges
- Provide therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each childs development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions regarding student progress
