Job Description

A professional opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This position involves working directly with a diverse K-12 student population, addressing a variety of speech and language needs.

Qualifications:

  • Current Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
  • Familiarity with a range of disabilities, from mild to severe
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively

Location:

  • Sullivan, MO

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for approximately 85 students across three school buildings, including a Pre-K program
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implement appropriate therapy plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate students communication goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
