Job Description

An opportunity for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists is available in Stratford, CT, within a dynamic educational setting. This contract position focuses on providing essential communication support to elementary students, with a caseload of 45 to 50 students.

Location: Stratford, CT Duration: Full School Year, Contract Hours: 35-40 hours per week, onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to implement IEP goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Conduct group and individual therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist License; Clinical Fellowship accepted.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation is preferred.
