Job Description

This contract opportunity seeks an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support both elementary and high school students in Strasburg, VA. The position primarily involves working with an elementary caseload, supplemented by support for approximately 10 high school students. This role is ideal for an SLP with a Virginia license who is available to provide dedicated services during a leave assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech therapy services to a caseload predominantly consisting of elementary students, with additional sessions for high school students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations and needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans

Qualifications:

  • Current Virginia SLP License required
  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children in both elementary and high school settings
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Position Details:

  • Location: Strasburg, VA
  • School Levels: Elementary and High School
  • Schedule: 7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, totaling 35 hours per week
  • Contract Duration: January 5th, 2026 through April 2026
  • Assignment Type: Leave coverage
