Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide comprehensive services to PreK through 8th-grade students within a K-12 school setting in Stockton, CA. This contract position offers a chance to support a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students, focusing on individuals with mild to moderate disabilities, including those in specialized autism and specialized day class settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and deliver interventions according to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide services in pull-out, push-in, and consultative formats across potentially two school sites.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including attending IEP meetings and working closely with families and staff.
  • Support students categorized under various specialized classifications, including autism and moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports while adhering to state licensing regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC preferred).
  • Experience working in school settings with PreK-8 student populations.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 55 students effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for family and team engagement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supporting students with mild to moderate speech and language challenges.
