Job Description

A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled professional specializing in speech-language pathology within a K-12 educational setting. This position is located in Stockton, CA, for the duration of the school year, allowing for a meaningful impact on students' communication needs through a contract role.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on children and adolescents.
  • Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Relevant experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Strong assessment and therapeutic skills in speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans tailored to individual students.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
