Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school settings. This position is based in Stockton, CA, within an elementary school environment, serving students from kindergarten through fifth grade.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
  • ASHA certification preferred, but not required
  • Experience working in school settings, especially with K-5 students, is a plus
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual students
  • Provide direct therapy services as well as consultation to educators and parents
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student needs
