Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Speech Language Pathologist license for the state of Michigan
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with IEP processes and diverse student populations
- Strong communication skills to connect with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability and professionalism across elementary, middle, and high school environments
- Ability to manage a full caseload and adapt interventions to meet individual student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students requiring speech and language support
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy to students in individual or small-group settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with all regulatory guidelines
- Provide input at meetings and actively participate in school initiatives and support networks
