Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year at a K-12 school in Statesville, NC. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week working primarily with elementary students, managing a caseload of approximately 35 children. This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in pediatric speech-language development within a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress.
  • Conduct assessments and maintain documentation in compliance with school guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • Experience or interest in working with pediatric populations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and deliver teletherapy services as needed.
