A leading K-12 school in Springfield, TN, is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join their team on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). These positions require dedicated professionals licensed to practice in Tennessee and committed to providing onsite support to students across various grade levels.
Position Details:
- Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists needed
- One position serves elementary, middle, and high school students
- The other position focuses exclusively on elementary students
- Contract duration: Current school year (CSY)
- Onsite work only at Springfield, TN location
Qualifications:
- Valid Tennessee SLP licensure is required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in K-12 school settings is highly desirable
- Strong ability to develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs in elementary, middle, and high school settings
