A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-8th grade students in a vibrant K-12 school environment. This onsite contract role, based in Springfield, MA, offers a 35-hour workweek focused on delivering high-quality speech and language services across pediatric and educational settings. The position is ideal for professionals holding a Massachusetts SLP License seeking to apply their expertise in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy for students in grades K-8.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist License required.
- Experience working in schools, preferably with K-8 students.
- Familiarity with pediatric speech-language pathology, including CFY and CCC credentials, is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a student-centered approach.
