Job Description

A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Spokane, WA, for the current school year. This full-time, 1.0 FTE contract position offers a dynamic caseload of approximately 48 students, primarily elementary-aged, requiring expertise in pediatric speech-language services within an educational setting.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology (SLP - Pediatrics)
  • Familiarity with clinical fellowship year requirements (SLP - CFY) is preferred
  • Washington State SLP licensure is required
  • Competency in school-based speech-language therapy services (SLP - School)
  • Previous healthcare experience in speech-language pathology (SLP - Healthcare) is advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized speech and language assessments and therapy services to a diverse elementary student population
  • Manage and maintain a caseload around 48 students, ensuring compliance with all educational and therapy standards
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement student-centered goals and intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school district policies
  • Participate in Zoom-based interview and onboarding processes prior to contract commencement
