Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist is sought for a full-time position in a dynamic K-12 educational environment located in South Portland, ME. This role focuses on providing essential support to students with communication disorders, ensuring that each child receives the guidance and therapy needed to succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Maine Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Expertise in direct therapy, assessment, and writing IEPs
  • Experience working with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to evaluate and test students for speech and language disorders

Location:

  • South Portland, Maine (Onsite at a K-12 School)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students
  • Assess and test students to identify communication disorders

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
