Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students in a school setting located in South Holland, IL. This contract position, beginning ASAP and continuing through the end of the school year, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development while working onsite a 32.5-hour week. Caseload details and specific grade levels are to be determined.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluation and therapy services aligned with students needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports consistent with school standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary efforts supporting student achievement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement required.
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
  • Knowledge of pediatric and healthcare speech-language practices beneficial.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly desired.
  • Ability to work effectively within a school district and comply with state-specific requirements.
