Job Description

Exciting opportunity available for skilled SLPs in a supportive K-12 educational environment located in South Holland, IL. This role focuses on helping students aged 8-22, including those who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and spans across various grade levels from early childhood to high school.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate effective communication strategies
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development

Qualifications:

  • Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools through ISBE
  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Familiarity with speech and language assessment tools and therapy techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
