Job Description

Engage your skills in a dynamic educational environment dedicated to the growth and development of young learners. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse Pre-K caseload, focusing on mild to moderate disabilities.

Location: Snowflake, AZ (Show Low, Shumway, Taylor)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and evaluation services to Pre-K students, completing child find processes.
  • Develop and implement tailored speech and language interventions for 15-20 students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive support plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and document interventions in compliance with district policies.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in a school setting, particularly with early childhood populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

This position runs through the school year, offering a flexible schedule of 15-22.5 hours per week over 2-3 days.
