This opportunity is tailored for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful impact within a K-12 school setting. Serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade, this contract position offers a comprehensive role that balances direct therapy, assessment, and collaboration with educational staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services aligned with student IEPs
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Develop, write, and attend IEP meetings to address individualized goals
- Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to enhance student outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid Maine Speech Language Pathologist License mandatory
- Experience working with school-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills essential
- Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Skowhegan, ME
- Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week
- Contract term spans the current school year (CSY)
