This opportunity is tailored for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful impact within a K-12 school setting. Serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade, this contract position offers a comprehensive role that balances direct therapy, assessment, and collaboration with educational staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy services aligned with student IEPs
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop, write, and attend IEP meetings to address individualized goals
  • Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to enhance student outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Valid Maine Speech Language Pathologist License mandatory
  • Experience working with school-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills essential
  • Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel

Location and Schedule:

  • Position based in Skowhegan, ME
  • Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract term spans the current school year (CSY)
