Job Description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Moorpark, CA, serving a K-12 school setting. This is a contract role for the full school year, providing essential speech and language services to students across all grade levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
  • Deliver individualized therapy sessions to support student communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student goals

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • Experience in school-based SLP services with K-12 populations
  • Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Position Details:

  • Location: Moorpark, CA
  • Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Age group served: Kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Contract duration: Full school year
