Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working closely with K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting near Silverdale, WA. Three full-time Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for in-person roles supporting students throughout the 2026-2027 academic year, from late August through mid-June. This position is ideal for those who thrive in dynamic school environments and are passionate about making a meaningful difference in students' communication skills and academic success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Washington SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous experience working in school-based settings is highly beneficial
- Ability to support a diverse K-12 student population (caseload details forthcoming)
- Willingness to work on-site; remote/VOCO approaches will not be considered
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver targeted, evidence-based therapy to help students achieve their speech and language goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities
