Job Description
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting in Seattle, WA. This contract position offers an opportunity to deliver essential speech and language services to students, focusing on pediatric populations in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with school timelines and regulations
- Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to promote effective communication skills among students
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
- Strong knowledge of K-12 school speech pathology practices and protocols
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
