Qualifications and Background Desired:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to varied learning needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams to foster holistic student progress
  • Document and maintain accurate student progress records and IEP data
  • Provide consultation, resources, and training to school staff as needed
  • Stay current with best practices and state requirements for school speech-language services
