An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to support high school students in Santa Rosa, CA. This part-time position focuses on addressing and fulfilling the speech needs of students by making up speech hours, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and services.

Qualifications:

  • Valid IL SSW License
  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with high school students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of various speech disorders and treatment strategies

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment plans
  • Conduct screening and evaluations to identify students in need of speech services
  • Provide therapy services in accordance with state and school regulations
