Job Description

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in Santa Maria, CA. This role is a leave coverage contract from October through mid-December 2025, concluding at winter break. The position requires on-site presence and offers approximately 21 hours of work per week, spread across three days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students across Pre-K to 12th grade
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
  • Provide indirect services related to student needs
  • Address a variety of disabilities within the caseload

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current CA Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or CA California Teaching Credential (CTC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in delivering services to pediatric populations within healthcare or school environments
  • Familiarity with teletherapy is beneficial but position is on-site only
  • Eligible and qualified for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) support preferred
