A K-12 school in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students throughout the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position begins in March 2026 and concludes on June 4, 2026. The role offers a caseload averaging approximately 45 students, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on childrens communication development within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with school district requirements
- Delivering services tailored to meet the diverse needs of K-12 students
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings
- Proven ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of current best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
