Help make a difference for students with communication needs in an engaging, collaborative school environment near Santa Clara, CA! This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated speech-language pathologist who thrives on variety, teamwork, and supporting school-based caseloads. The assignment begins 9/25/2026 and will continue until the district secures a permanent hire. No teletherapyall work is onsite, directly impacting students in a school setting.

This role involves splitting your time between Braly Elementary (mid to moderate support) and Briarwood Elementary (general education and preschool). Your schedule will be full-time (MondayFriday, 8am3pm), with each day at a single locationthough your site may change throughout the week. Youll serve as additional support for overloaded caseloads and will conduct assessments, but wont serve as the main SLP at either school.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid SLP license preferred (not required, but highly valued by the district)
• ASHA CCC strongly preferred
• Experience in school-based speech therapy settings desired
• Ability to manage changing assignments and adapt to different student populations
• Strong assessment and collaboration skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students from general and special education settings
• Conduct assessments to support students with communication needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and existing SLPs
• Adapt interventions and documentation to meet individualized student goals
• Support staff and ensure effective communication across school sites
• Contribute to IEP meetings as needed
