Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in one of Central Floridas vibrant educational communities. We are actively searching for passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the upcoming school year. This role offers hands-on experience making a tangible difference in students lives, with a collaborative support system and a clear path for professional growth.
As an SLP in this setting, youll have the chance to work in energetic school environments at either Taylor Middle High or Hinson Middle, providing essential services to learners during the academic year. New graduates (CFs) are encouraged to applywe offer supervision and mentorship to help you build a strong professional foundation. Please note: we are not accepting applications from SLPAs or virtual candidates at this time.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Florida SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CFY); supervision provided as needed
- School-based SLP experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, educators, and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language therapy services
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collect data and maintain accurate documentation according to district and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to deliver comprehensive support
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise in speech-language development
Position Details:
- Contract runs from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027
- 37.5 hours each week with a consistent, school-based schedule
- Positions available at Taylor Middle High (Pierson) and Hinson Middle (Daytona)
