Job Description

We are excited to share an opening for a specialist to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting located in San Luis Obispo, CA. This part-time position focuses on supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade during a maternity leave contract, running from October 2025 until mid-December 2025. Part-time schedule will run 21 hours weekly, 3 days a week.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric therapy, particularly in school settings
  • Proficient in conducting evaluations and developing IEPs
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
  • California SLP license or CA CTC credential

Location:

  • San Luis Obispo, California

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals during IEP meetings
  • Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
