Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students in a dynamic school environment near San Jose, CA. This assignment begins at the start of the school year on September 25, 2026, and will continue until an internal hire is made by the district. Youll offer valuable supplementary support as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing services at both Braly and Briarwood Elementary Schools. Each day, you'll work at a single location, alternating between sites throughout the week.

Key qualifications and preferences:

• Holds a CCC-SLP credential or equivalent SLP certification (preferred, though licensure is not required)
• Experience in school-based speech therapy settings, with familiarity in both general education and preschool populations
• Assessment and caseload management skills, especially for students with moderate to significant needs
• Comfortable adapting to shifting schedules and new environments
• Ability to collaborate with primary SLPs and other educational professionals

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students as assigned
• Provide assessment support to help manage caseload overflow
• Track and document progress in compliance with school and district protocols
• Work closely with site-based teams and contribute to IEP development when needed
• Ensure seamless service by rotating between sites as scheduled

This full-time assignment runs Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Compensation for this contract role is set at $115 per hour, offering a competitive rate for your specialized support.
