Job Description
A specialized Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting in San Jose, CA, offering a full-time contract through the end of the current school year. This role involves working onsite across multiple school sites, dedicating 35 hours per week to support students with moderate to severe and extensive communication needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing targeted speech and language therapy for students from preschool through 8th grade.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes.
- Managing a caseload of students with diverse communication challenges.
Qualifications:
- California Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential required.
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
- Familiarity with managing caseloads involving moderate to severe communication disorders.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and/or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly desirable.
