A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in San Jose, CA, serving elementary and K-12 student populations. This contract position offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours per week over five days, providing important speech and language services to students in an educational setting.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Valid California SLP License
- CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience or interest in pediatrics, teletherapy, and school-based therapy
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or eligibility
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic intervention for a diverse student population from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Utilizing teletherapy tools as needed to deliver remote services
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to school and state guidelines
