Job Description

Shape a rewarding contract experience supporting students in the San Francisco Bay Area as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). In this opportunity, youll manage a caseload of approximately 19 students, utilizing your expertise in school, healthcare, and teletherapy settings to deliver high-quality interventions and assessments. The position welcomes candidates with various SLP backgrounds, including SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and those experienced in pediatric and school environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold or eligible for California SLP licensure and required credentials for school settings.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, ideally within PreK8 student populations.
  • Comfortable providing both onsite and teletherapy speech-language services.
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs, collaborate with educators, and engage families.
  • Demonstrated skills in assessment, progress monitoring, and documentation.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and provide direct therapy to students.
  • Develop and manage individualized education plans (IEPs), tracking progress.
  • Partner closely with teachers and school staff to support student goals and inclusion.
  • Offer teletherapy services as needed to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, family conferences, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain timely documentation and compliance with school-based requirements.
