Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in Benicia, CA. This contract position involves providing speech therapy services within a single school location, serving a caseload typical for elementary students.

Location: Benicia, CA (Elementary School)

Contract Duration: August 13, 2025 June 5, 2026 Full-time, 40 hours per week

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Valid California SLP License for Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Credentialed SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience in pediatric healthcare or school settings
  • Credentials and experience aligned with one or more of the following roles: SLP - CFY, SLP - Healthcare, SLP - Pediatrics, SLP - School, SLPA - Healthcare, SLPA - School
  • Ability to work with an elementary school caseload model
  • Completion of fingerprinting as required for employment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech therapy services and support to elementary students with communication disorders
  • Utilize appropriate assessment and intervention strategies tailored to pediatric populations
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records to meet regulatory and school standards
  • Potentially deliver services in both virtual and in-person formats, as outlined by the assignment
