Job Description

Two full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) positions are available at a K-12 school located in San Bernardino, CA. These contract roles provide an opportunity to work directly with elementary school students during the school year, contributing to their communication development within a supportive educational environment.

Work Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time, 8 hours per day when school is in session (excluding a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Up to 40 hours per week
  • On-site positions at elementary school sites

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
  • Prepare detailed reports and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Collaborate with Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), who will primarily handle therapy sessions
  • Manage an average caseload of approximately 55 students

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP License is required
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to handle evaluations, reporting, and collaboration with school teams
