Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year (2025-2026) within a K-12 public school district in San Bernardino County, CA. This contract role offers the opportunity to work across elementary, middle, and high school settings, serving a diverse caseload of students with mild to moderate speech and language disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK12 students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and in-house training sessions

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) credential
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working in healthcare, pediatric, school, or teletherapy settings
  • Ability to manage an average caseload of approximately 55 students; support available via Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in higher caseload sites
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the capacity to work independently or as part of a team
  • Open to candidates at all professional levels, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinicians

Work Schedule and Location:

  • Position located in Hesperia, CA (San Bernardino County)
  • Full-time, 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week (approximately 6.5 hours daily); option to extend up to 8 hours daily as needed, with verification of related work
  • School year contract for the 20252026 academic year
