Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with special needs in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This full-time position is based in San Bernardino, CA, and involves working across multiple schools, focusing on providing tailored speech and language services to a diverse student population.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in California (CA SLP License or CA CTC)
  • Hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certified in Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals, including Occupational Therapists and Counselors

Location: San Bernardino, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students aged 2nd grade to 22 years
  • Deliver direct services as outlined in IEPs, ensuring effective communication strategies are implemented
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to co-treat and support students' overall development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
