Job Description

Located in Salem, OR, this contract opportunity for the 2025-2026 school year offers five Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) positions serving a K-12 student population. These roles require onsite work at one of the districts schools, providing essential speech therapy services within preK-12 settings. Caseload assignments, averaging around 50 students, will be thoughtfully determined to align with each staff members strengths and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across preK-12 grade levels.
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state policies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to team planning.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or valid SLP license.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage caseload independently and provide onsite services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Details:

  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract position covering the full school year.
  • Caseloads approximately 50 students.
  • Must be onsite to deliver services.
